Steelers Designate Rookie CB Cameron Sutton To Return From Injured Reserve
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that theyâve designated rookie CB Cameron Sutton to return from injured reserve.
This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Steelers to add him to their active roster or heâll spend the duration of the 2017 season on injured reserve.
Sutton, 22, was selected by the Steelers in the third round of this yearâs draft. He signed a four-year contract worth $3, 126, 128, which includes a signing bonus of $736, 128Â and stands to make a base salary ofÂ $465, 000 for the 2017 season.
Unfortunately, the Steelers placed Sutton on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.
During his four-year college career at Tennessee, Â Sutton recordedÂ 127 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, one sack, seven interceptions, 30 pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, and scored one defensive touchdown.
