New Zealand Condemns Mexican and US For Drug Trafficking

A Mexican and an American were sentenced today by a New Zealand court of law to 19 and 17 years’ imprisonment in the largest cocaine drug case intercepted in New Zealand.

Mexican Agustín Suárez Juárez will serve 19 years and 9 months in prison, and American Ronaldo W. Cook will serve 17 years and 9 months.

Mexican lawyer Peter Kaye asked the court to take into account that his client was going to serve the sentence in a foreign country away from his family and reduce the sentence.
