A 66,000 capacity stadium sold out for the relocated semi-final between Brazil & England over a space of 5 hours at midnight of 23.10. This can only happen in Kolkata!!! The morning after streets were full of fans relating their experience in waiting for their turn in an online queue that touched 150,000+. Most were disgruntled as the FIFA website crashed while the fortunate ones were beaming as if a battle has been won. Unbelievable craze for an U17 WC. I shudder to think what will happen if Kolkata hosts a full WC match ever.
